I'm more comfortable drawing cars that are slightly worse for wear, ones that are no longer new and shiny but have given up their battle against rust and scratches. Your comment made me laugh too, because it was so nice! thanks
thanks Sara, this was partly inspired by a childhood memory of an old car I found abandoned in the middle of a field. It was a mysterious and fascinating discovery and was half sunken in a muddy pool we used to call the steaming pond which was essentially a dumping ground for oil drums and various forms of toxic waste. Still, despite the cocktail of hazardous chemicals there was some life - shrubs, weeds, reeds, moss etc and beetles no doubt.
Ha! Laughed loudly at the Mushtang. Clever!
ReplyDeleteAnd you even draw cars really really good.
I'd like to "borrow" a cup of talent, please!
:D

DeleteI love a good decaying vehicle. Maybe the stag beetles will find a home in there. Love the colours, beautiful.
