I wanted to thank you once again for your advice. I am having SO much fun with my painting in the mornings now. It makes a world of difference if you have some "depth" of field. I have also discovered Friskit--which is very very helpful stuff for leaving those "light" marks so important in keeping paintings from looking flat. Like I said, an artist I am not, but that advice was so helpful. Thank you!
thanks Sue, its great that you found my comments helpful and that you are trying new techniques. I've not tried frisket myself but have used waterproof liquid latex which is what I assume frisket is. Carry on the good work!
Oh, I love those silly birds. So sweet!
