  1. Not sure what I think about this. I really like the picture. I really do. And I can see where the title comes from. (In the previous post.) However . . . the song is so powerful, so moving, so dreadful, it's a bit disconcerting, a bit uncomfortable-making . . .

    1. thank you Esther, I'm quite comfortable with making a drawing thats uncomfortable-making. This theme is possibly more political than my usual ones, although its not intended to be anti automobile, more about compare and contrast and hopefully a bit of humour.

    2. PS. the post title being the same as a well known song is only a coincidence and something I only became aware of after posting.
I think this is what you referred to and I can see that it might be disturbing! perhaps I should change it, because it does make it more loaded than intended.

    3. I notice you changed the title. I hadn't realised until reading your reply that you didn't know the song. (Have you listened to it now? It makes me shiver and sometimes cry.)

    4. yes I was familiar with the song which reminds me of some of Schubert's more melancholy songs but I haven't heard it for quite a while and had forgotten the macabre images it conjures up. I appreciate you mentioning it anyway as on reflection it could have been misleading.

  2. Haha You're really getting into gear now. Though you have managed to make the Freelanders look like quirky french cars instead of the beasts that they are!

    1. Glad you like it but I see your also getting into gear with the puns! and its true, they look far too dainty to be land rovers, more like toy cars in fact, which I prefer.
