  1. Was hearing the music for the first. Wondered what it would be for the second. Decided I'd be terrified of seedlings that huge in the third.

    1. The musical theme is a good idea!, I could have titled them : 1. Tango 2. Glissando (sliding or in this case crawling between notes) 3. Requiem (for an oversized seedling)

  2. I hope this comment gets posted I seem to be having trouble...

Seedlings are very much on my mind. I'm glad I've seen your drawings as I am now seeing them in a new light (s)! It has made me pause and stop thinking of them as a chore I need to complete (potting on). If it ever warms up I may have some flowers.

    1. sorry about your comment not appearing, I have to ok them first ( a bit like censorship). Its the only way I can keep the spam off, which was getting quite bad. I know what you mean about seedlings and the weather (at the moment I'm in cafe nero just to warm up). Seedlings are strangely bland and anonymous considering they grow into such a diversity of plants. Even seeds are distinctive in comparison. Ok I'm now warmed and ready to emerge from the greenhouse.

    2. Yes, normally it says 'awaiting moderation' or something but this time it just disappeared! On WP there's an option to allow comments from specific users, not sure if BS does this. You're so right about seedlings they are peculiarly devoid of personality :) I hope your exhibition went well and you sold some work.

    3. I've had similar things happen to me when leaving comments and you never know if you should keep posting until its accepted or if that means it will eventually appear about six times making you seem like a blogging maniac. The show went exceptionally well thanks. I sold most of my winter pictures which means I don't have a lot left for a show I'm having at the end of June, so good news but not much time to sit back and enjoy it.

  4. These illustrations came up on google images while I was searching for seedling pictures to use on an e-vite I'm creating for a seedling exchange. Can your images be copied and pasted?

    Wonderful illustrations!

    1. Hello Yukon Family, I'm glad you like the pictures and its ok to use them for personal use but not for advertising commercial products or services. If your seed exchange is non profit making then I'd be happy for you to use my illustrations.
