Greg Becker's personal visual record of the triumphs and trials of an artist, illustrator and vegetable gardener.
lovely. It reminds me of the cover of the children's picture book 'Handa's surprise' where she's carrying all sorts of fruit in a bowl on her head.
thanks Nic, wasn't sure if she looked a bit Peter Panish but I suppose that would have been fairly appropriate anyway, as allotments are sort of never never lands.
The edible kind :)
yes thats right, not trendy but quite tasty!
Oh so many jewels out there, oh so little time. What yummy jewels. Emily
The jewels on offer at the moment (pumpkins. apples, potatoes etc.) tend to be a bit too heavy to be used for personal adornment (a pair of pumpkin earrings could be uncomfortable) but they are still very precious.
I would go with look into gourds (in the squash family) for lighter weight earrings!
small brightly coloured gourds, could be made into earrings for people with strong ear lobes and a taste for something a bit gaudy!
