  1. If they ever get that big we'll have to exhibit those outside at our horticultural society show! Flighty.

  2. Thats a nice idea Flighty, but would the society offer to cover the costs of delivery including police escort?

  3. Speaking of exhibiting big pumpkins... http://photoblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/08/31/7540693-giant-pumpkin-grower-looks-to-break-alaska-and-world-records

    Love the motorcade.

  5. Love the pumpkin with police escort! I know out in the eastern US there are big competitions for pumpkins - like over 1000 lbs and up! Imagine that. So no, your drawing isn't too far off at all. The growers have security cameras and everything to protect their pumpkins from vandals, etc! It is really serious stuff. A lot of the state fairs in the fall have contests too in their agriculture area. Emily

  7. Hopefully! I do like pumpkin soup (especially the spicy ones) but I think I might need to buy a bigger saucepan.

  8. Emily, when I first read your comment I thought you said people use security guards to protect their pumpkins, which would have made me a bit psychic, but cameras are pretty weird as well.
    P.S.
I did post a reply earlier but it seems to have mysteriously disappeared.
