  2. Nothing like a good down pour, but its a bit of a rare event in these parts (south london).

  3. Hi Greg, Sorry for my absence recently. I have just realised you are following the alphabet in the month of August idea. Great, that means we will see loads more wonderful illustrations. Hope you manage to stick to it. I'm rattling my brain trying to think of a subject for E? or i,etc etc???

  4. Nice to hear from you Trevor. I'm really enjoying doing the alphabet but work pressures are mounting so my efforts re going to be more spread out. As for E well thats 'Easy' - perhaps all the things that are easy to do like eating allotment produce rather than growing it.

  6. Thank you Emily, its nice to see so many people simultaneously enjoying doing their own personal alphabets, I'm certainly finding it a bit addictive.

  7. All brilliant! I borrow a plot neighbour's wheelbarrow which is full of holes so it'd be no good as a boat.
I gave your blog a mention in my post today as seeing these reminded me that I'm doing a Plot A to Z which I started last year and have got as far as E which I did at Easter!
    Cheers Flighty.

  8. fab and such a timely read.
We had a real deluge here yesterday and got very wet in the short distance from the car to the house. I wouldn't have minded if I was in allotment gear but we'd just left a wedding - I could have certainly done with a hat and a crow to keep the rain off!

  11. Flighty: thanks for the mention. I hope it doesn't take me as long to finish my alphabet.

Nic: no it hasn't been brilliant wedding weather, actually thats given me an idea for W, but thats a long way off.

This is my patch: I like being in Sussex (I think thats were you are?) what ever the weather!

Jono: thanks Jono, nice to hear from you again

  12. Of course Deluge! Brilliant word. I was thinking Monsoon yesterday as the rain poured down, stopped and then repoured. Lovely ! I am really enjoying your work and look forward to coming back :)

  13. Glad you are enjoying the alphabet Joanna, unfortunately I won't be able to keep it up on a daily basis, due to being caught in, not a deluge but certainly a few welcome showers of payed work.
