Its on from the 19th - 24th Sept and then on to Trowbridge Arts in Wiltshire 11th Nov - 23rd Dec and then at the Guildford House Gallery from 13th Jan - 10th March.

My Lost Picture

Night

After many frustrated attempts to finish this picture, I decided to over paint it. Unlike losing a picture, when there is always hope it can be rediscovered, overpainting with many layers of paint is somewhat more final. Luckily I came across a scan of it and thought it worthy of resurrection. Perhaps the fleeting overlaying vapour trails are fitting imagery for this ghost of a lost picture.

Artists Open House 2017

I will be showing a selection of recent paintings and drawings using a variety of media and surfaces. This year all my images are based on local scenes, mostly inspired by walks in Peckham Rye Park, Dulwich Park and Dawsons Hill.
